A subject token is used to train a person or pet (dogs and cats are supported) so Phota learns to recognize them and learn their appearance. Once trained, their identity stays accurate in every phota you create.

You receive 2 subject tokens when you create your account. Subscribing to a paid plan grants additional tokens on first sign-up — for example, Pro includes 6 tokens. If you later upgrade to a higher plan, you receive the difference (e.g., upgrading from Pro to Max monthly grants 6 additional tokens). Tokens never expire. You can also purchase more for $2.99 each.

Every phota you generate costs credits based on resolution: 2 credits for 1K, 3 credits for 2K, and 4 credits for 4K. The same rate applies across Editor, Booth, and Actions. Your monthly credits refresh each billing cycle — use them however you want.

Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. However, top-up credits never expire. Monthly credits are always consumed before top-up credits.

Yes — you can purchase additional subject tokens for $2.99 each whenever you need them.

Your plan stays active through the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again unless you choose to resubscribe. Annual plans are not refunded for unused months. Your trained subjects are saved to your account — you can still use them.
